How Padel Bears Was Born...

When we first started looking for padel rackets, we found the process overwhelming. With so many options and so little guidance on who each racket suited, it felt like a guessing game. We knew there had to be a better way. That’s why we created Padel Bears- to make finding the right gear as smooth and welcoming as possible. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned player, we want to simplify the experience and encourage more people to get into this amazing sport.

The Father-Son Duo behind Padel Bears

Sports have always been a huge part of our family- if we’re not playing, we’re watching. Padel became a shared passion for both of us, but we each bring something different to the game. I’m Joe, and I focus on power, always looking for explosive shots and an aggressive edge. My Dad, Simon, prioritises maneuverability- he says it’s about control and precision, but I think it’s just his way of keeping up with me!

We want to make padel more accessible. Our website is designed to help players find the right racket with clear advice and filtering options, so no one has to go through the same confusion we did. Padel should be a fun, stress-free escape, and everything about it- from choosing your gear to playing- should reflect that.

The name Padel Bears came about on a holiday while feeding bears- and it just stuck. Pablo, our bear mascot, serves as a reminder that padel is about enjoying the game, not just competing. When you're in need of padel gear or advice, we hope you’ll bear us in mind!

That’s why we always encourage newcomers to explore our beginners range, and simply enjoy the experience.
